APPLICATION:

Type W is for use in heavy duty power systems as power supply cable such as: AC systems (grounded and ungrounded); mobile and portable electrical equipment; motor and battery leads. 4 conductor constructions are for three phase systems with one conductor being used as a ground. 5 conductor constructions are for three phase systems where one conductor is used as a neutral and one conductor being used as a ground, Type W is for applications up to 2000 volts and temperatures from -40°C to +90°C.
