Product Description
1 CONSTRUCTIONConductors: Flexible class 5 adhering to SANS 1411 - 1, comprised of tinned annealed copper wires in a left lay. Insulation: Ethylene propylene thermosetting compound type RD 3 compliant with SANS 1411-3.
Core of Cable Three tinned copper/nylon braid screened power cores and one unscreened pilot core, expertly laid in the right-hand lay around a rubber (RD1) filler center.
Inner SheathInner sheath made of poly-chloroprene thermosetting compound type RS 6, meeting SANS 1411-3 standards.
Re-enforcementAn open nylon braid with a minimum of 16 nylon strings for re-enforcement.
Outer SheathOuter sheath crafted from poly-chloroprene thermosetting compound type RS 6 per SANS 1411-3. Inner and outer sheath are bonded to ensure optimal torsional protection, in black.
MarkingMarking includes TF KABLE 3 Texoprene TR 41 (Size) (Voltage) CR SANS 1520-1 (Year) + metre marking for easy identification.
2 FEATURES
Features excellent flexibility with a minimum ambient temperature of -25°C and a maximum conductor temperature of 90°C.
Clearly marked for easy identification.
3 APPLICATIONS
Ideal for electrically driven machines and movable electric apparatus in hazardous areas. Suitable for small pumps, fans, and drills with 2.5 mm2, and for shuttle cars with 16 mm2. Types 16, 25 mm2 are also suitable for reeling applications.
Standard length cable packing of 1000m on drums. Other forms of packing and delivery are available upon request.
